What we do
We are a small group of volunteers involved in caring for and seeking loving new homes for the cats and kittens which are brought into our care for numerous reasons. Our committee oversee all the branch activities: re-homing; fundraising; lost and found; neutering campaigns; press advertising; etc.
Some of our number do the actual fostering of cats, in purpose built pens in our gardens. If you re-home a cat from us, you will probably visit one of our fosterer's homes.
The rest of our group you will most likely see at fundraising events around North Devon, their tireless efforts essential to our survival. We are heavily dependent on donations and local fundraising at these events and public support is greatly appreciated.

Did you know that a female cat, in just 5 years can be responsible for 20,000 descendants? From as early as 4 months a healthy female cat can have up to 3 litters each year.
An uncastrated male cat marks its territory with strong smelling urine, indoors as well as outdoors. He may disappear for days or weeks and will often turn up injured or ill from untreated wounds. If neutered, male cats are less aggresive and should fight less.
The majority of cats killed on the roads are uncastrated toms.
Please be a responsible cat owner and have your cat neutered.
